The Apex Aerie
The Apex Aerie bird box is a traditional wall-mounted nest box design, is a combination of treated Plywood and PVC and can be painted to blend in with appropriate brickwork if the customer requires. With a nest form inside, this box protects from predators and weather with its sloping roof design and is durable in varying conditions.
* Nesting Chambers Dimensions 398cms(²) floor area with a height of 12 cms
** Entrance is 28 mm as standard, but can be increased to 32 mm for larger species
The Apex Bird and Bat Combi
As an Additional option for Clients wishing to provide a roost for Bats in tandem with our popular style home for swifts, this adaptation of the Apex Aerie allows them to do just that. These are available in a combination of UPVC and Plywood, which can be finished in Black or Woodstain depending on the wishes of the client.
*These have similar dimensions to the standard Apex 30 but with an additional 17 mm gap and landing ramp to allow bats to roost behind the box. With the ramp extending down 5 cms.
The Apex Bee Brick (Engraved)
Our Engraved Bee Brick allows bees to find a natural home within your Garden.
It is often overlooked that Bees are a critical part of our natural environment, and a large number of Bees are solitary, rather than living in a colony, instead seeking to inhabit a crack or crevice within a building. With the number of bees reported to be falling year on year due to habitat loss, these bricks are a pleasant addition to any building.
Our Bee bricks come with 2 engraving options: (1) Bee Image or (2) ‘Bee Brick’ in Stencil font.
The Apex Thermaguard Bird and Bat Boxes
The Apex Thermaguard range of Boxes offered has been designed for projects where it’s necessary for the bird and bat boxes to be constructed of non-combustible materials. The main body of the box is constructed of stainless Steel, real brick slips are bonded to the front of the box with a non-combustible adhesive.
