Eton School

Eton College is one of the most prestigious and historic schools in the world, located in Eton, Berkshire, near Windsor. Founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, its architecture reflects centuries of tradition, growth, and the importance placed on education and leadership in British society. Sixty number Structural Brick Arches were supplied, the arches had bricks slips bonded to flat and segmental arches. When manufacturing flat structural arches the reinforcing acts in a way where the top rebar (steel) is compressed and the bottom rebar expands, this is where the strength is in the lintel. The concrete acts as a filler so it has an effect where it increases the loadings.
